The Challenge
APS was contacted by Ms. Cox regarding foundation concerns. She purchased her home approximately 5 years ago, and had noticed cracks forming in her drywall. She had also noticed cracked tile in her kitchen. During my inspection, I discovered erosion against her house from not having gutters installed. I also noticed her slab was uneven and needed stabilization.
What We Did
To correct the water erosion, APS installed a seamless gutter system with new downspouts. We also installed helical piers around the back and side of the home to permanently stabilize her failing foundation. After the piers were installed, we injected polyurethane foam under her interior slab and back patio to void fill and attempt to raise any unlevel areas.
