Building beds for children in need
APS Foundation partnered with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a nonprofit that delivers hand made, fully furnished beds to children who would otherwise sleep on the floor or a couch, for a National Build Day.
Our structural repair product suppliers, together with APS and dealers across North America, joined local chapters to build beds. Craig Williams, owner of APS, described taking part as an incredibly meaningful experience and pointed to the importance of giving back to the community the company works in.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace describes bedlessness as a national problem, linked to hyperactivity, anxiety, depression and worse general health in children and teenagers.
